Jerome Darga

Vice President of Engineering, Sentech, Inc.

Jerome Darga serves as Vice President of Engineering at Sentech, Inc. After joining the company in 2021, he was appointed as the technical leader to succeed the company’s founder and has driven significant advancements in engineering operations. Under his leadership, the engineering team has developed innovative position sensor designs for both new and existing clients while maintaining legacy products and fostering enduring customer relationships. His strategic focus on expanding aerospace applications has strengthened Sentech’s market position, supported by targeted professional development initiatives and strategic hiring to enhance the engineering team’s capabilities. Additionally, Mr. Darga successfully led the technical integration of Sentech’s acquisition of speed and proximity sensor manufacturer, Xensor, and expanded the engineering team following the acquisition of Motion Sensors in North Carolina.

With over 28 years of experience in the design, manufacturing, and testing of electro-mechanical devices, actuators, and systems, he brings deep expertise in aerospace and defense applications. His career spans both large corporations and smaller enterprises, where he has delivered innovative products across the supply chain, from components to aircraft installation, for both new and aftermarket solutions.

Jerome holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Detroit, Michigan. A former U.S. Army Reserve officer in the Corps of Engineers, he also dedicated three years post-graduation to volunteering with Habitat for Humanity before embarking on his engineering career. Married with two children, he enjoys outdoor activities, including hiking, hunting, and golfing, with family and friends.
